The town of Agost is located in Valencian autonomous community, in province of Alicante. It is situated south of Ventos and Castellar, 18km from Alicante and 60 km from Benidorm. The best way to get there is from Novelda.
The climate in the area is perfect for wine-producing and this is on of the most important source of income for the town. Other is production of white clay used for production of all types of ceramics,domestic utensils, Bricks and jugs. There are 9 brick factories in Agost.
